What We Do
The Global Commission brings together the collective experience, insights, inspiration and networks of its 32 members, who come from 18 countries and five continents, enabling analyses and understanding of the pandemic crises from a global and inter-disciplinary perspective, all to help strengthen societal resilience.
To advance this goal the Commission will
- Identify and recommend the strategic, priority issues to be addressed
- Develop and offer proposals about how to assess the challenges of the crises and how policy-makers should address these challenges, looking to both the present and future
- Utilize the wide variety of means of communications to animate and inform discourse and international understanding about problems and potential solutions
- Deliver presentations in public fora, and briefings to governmental authorities, parliaments, and other decision-making bodies, worldwide
